Q. In what sizes are Caster Carts available?
A. Both 64 gallon and 96 gallon Caster Carts are available.
Q. What are other applications for the MHI No-Lift System?
A. Other than soiled linen collection, the MHI No-Lift System can be used for waste and organic waste collection.
Q. What colors do Caster Carts come in?
A. The common colors are: Soiled Linen Collection...Blue or Sandstone;
Waste...Gray; Recycle & documents...Blue; Hazardous Waste... Red
Other colors available with minimum orders of 50 units.
Q. Does the SYSTEM address odor concerns?
A. Yes. All carts are equipped with close fitting lids, which not only address odor concerns but also
help contain airborne bacteria. Additionally, the roto-molded plastic Caster Carts prevent leakage of
body fluids and other contaminates.
Q. Are the Caster Carts difficult to manoeuvre?
A. No. The 10" rear wheels and easy glide front casters allow the Carts to be moved effortlessly in
any direction even when loaded to capacity.
Q. Does the Lifter require special skills to operate?
A. No. The LIFTER is designed with safety in mind and can be easily and safely operated by any
staff member with little training.
Q. Is the SYSTEM expensive?
A. No. Surveys have shown the MHI No-Lift System usually pays for itself in one and a half to two
years with the prevention of injuries alone.
Q. Can I use the MHI Mover on ramps and inclines?
A. Yes. You can safely use the MHI Mover on any incline as the MOVER has an automatic braking system.
Q. Should I be concerned about electrical interference from the MOVER in Hospital environments?
A. The electrical components in the MHI Mover are shielded so there is no concern about electrical interference.
Q. What other uses could the mover have?
A. The MHI Mover can be used to move large linen carts, food carts, waste containers, stock carts and even wheel chairs.
